Walk & Talk therapy is the same content and conversation as traditional therapy, but completed while walking in the river valley. For some people, this offers a more comfortable and relaxed setting to participate in therapy, while also providing benefits of movement and being in nature. There are no expectations for physical fitness - we can walk as fast or as slow as you would like, or find somewhere to sit along our walk if desired. Please ensure you have completed an intake session in person or virtually prior to booking walk & talk.
Our initial session will be an intake where we can get to know each other, explore what brings you in and what we would like to focus on. Please ensure initial sessions are booked either in person, or virtually.
This is a safe space and private space. Everything shared will remain confidential, with a few notable exceptions (if there is immediate risk of harm to yourself or others or if my notes are subpoenaed in court).
Fees for a 50 minute session are 220$. Fees for an 80 minute session are 330$. Reduced rates available, please reach out to inquire.
On The Move Mental Health's cancellation policy is a 50% fee charged for cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment (with some exceptions provided). Please reach out as early as possible to cancel or reschedule if you are no longer able to make your session time.
