Do you struggle with a sense of meaning in your life, or at times feel that you don’t have value? I think most of us have had these moments. Many times, these feelings relate to who we are, what’s happened to us, and how we are seen by the world. I enjoy working with youth, men, women and members of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community to help discover how we’ve been impacted by the stories told about us and how we can build a way of seeing ourselves and being in the world that works for us. I use a kind, curious approach to support you in creating a sense of purpose in your life. I want you to know that you matter and help you meet your goals.
With 10 years experience as a social worker I draw from feminist-narrative, acceptance and commitment therapy and self compassion to help with challenges such as transitions (education, career & relationships), chronic pain/illness, trauma and anxiety.
I’m here to help you in creating change that matters to you. I don’t have an expectation about the way you’ll be with me — only that we both come as open as we can to working together in a good way. I offer free 15-minute consults, reduced rate sessions (dependent on availability) and in office, virtual and walk & talk sessions with Sunday availability.
Walk and talk therapy is a unique approach where we walk while talking, experiencing the benefits of movement and the outdoors.
