Welcome to On The Move Mental Health. I am currently on medical leave and am no longer accepting clients.

If you would like support in finding another therapist, please contact Shauna Vanderheide (BCYC, MACP, CCC, ACTA) who can help with referrals - (825) 777-2276 or mollitiamcounselling@gmail.com.

While I am away, Sarah Hopkins, (MC, R. Psych.), is serving as my proxy and can support you in accessing information about your file, please contact her at hello@transformtrauma.ca.

I appreciate your patience during this transition and look forward to connecting with you upon my return,

Joey

Do you struggle with a sense of meaning in your life, or at times feel that you don’t have value? I think most of us have had these moments. Many times, these feelings relate to who we are, what’s happened to us, and how we are seen by the world. I enjoy working with youth, men, women and members of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community to help discover how we’ve been impacted by the stories told about us and how we can build a way of seeing ourselves and being in the world that works for us. I use a kind, curious approach to support you in creating a sense of purpose in your life. I want you to know that you matter and help you meet your goals.

With 10 years experience as a social worker I draw from feminist-narrative, acceptance and commitment therapy and self compassion to help with challenges such as transitions (education, career & relationships), chronic pain/illness, trauma and anxiety.

I’m here to help you in creating change that matters to you. I don’t have an expectation about the way you’ll be with me — only that we both come as open as we can to working together in a good way. I offer free 15-minute consults, reduced rate sessions (dependent on availability) and in office, virtual and walk & talk sessions with Sunday availability.

Walk & Talk

Walk and talk therapy is a unique approach where we walk while talking, experiencing the benefits of movement and the outdoors.
